This is the most beautiful thing I've seen, people focus on making the monster scary like you want to run away, like your life is at stake. In the end i'm broken, I do not fear death, if I had a gun pointed to my head I would laugh. If a monster came up to me and wanted to end my life I would simply smile. Any embrace I will take. I find peace in this game, some may call me the monster but I'm just broken.

Loved the story! The art was creepy and beautiful at the same time! Nice work! Got all endings too.

I love that rough hand-drawn art. Super stylish! And the writing is very, very good--it really captures the feeling of being lost in depression and loneliness.

I did spot one bug though:

OK, I'm going to be the fan theorist and just make a guess, you devs don't need to answer if you want to leave it to the imagination. I'm guessing the monster is either depression or addiction, and the cave is our mind in our darkest hour.

At first I thought the monster was us, as if our subconscious, or how we may perceive ourselves. But then it drops the line about me loving it even though I have not learned to love myself. And there's a suggestion of self-harm so both depression and addiction tracks. But then again, the "hate" ending left me wondering...

Anyway. If any other player feels like it, share your own interpretations down here, I'd like to know what everybody else got from this.

Great game! I love the art style and the design of our friend within the abyss; it really works well with the atmosphere you created.

I really enjoyed collecting the endings, you really did a good job on the different pathways considering the jam restrictions!

Excited to see what you create next!
